PSD to Responsive Web Design

Throughout the month, we’ve explored the modern web design process, style guides, wire-framing, color theory and typography; which were pertinent to learning web design. Beyond learning techniques and processes of web design, i’d like to introduce some web design software and processes that integrates the lessons we’ve learned this month.

This video introduces Brackets (http://brackets.io/); an open source  text editor. This software simplifies the web design and development process for beginners and allows users to import PSD mock ups created in Photoshop. The PSD file is a file extension of Adobe Photoshop that we learned about in Week 3 on Wire Framing. In the video, Jeff (https://tutsplus.com/authors/jeffrey-way) explains the process of how to design a web page in Adobe Photoshop then import it into Brackets with their Photoshop abstract feature.
